What happens at closing?
During your loan signing appointment, you’ll review and sign several documents. Be sure to read all documents carefully.
Your signing appointment will take place at a title company or your preferred location such as your home or work. For both refinance and purchase loans, you’ll have a knowledgeable closing agent with you during the loan signing appointment to answer any questions you may have.
Some of the documents will need to be notarized by the closing agent, so you’ll need to have your current state-issued photo ID with you.
After you have signed your documents and completed the loan signing appointment, your loan documents will be reviewed and your loan will be scheduled to fund.
The funding process can take anywhere from 24-72 hours. Your loan closing team will keep you informed throughout the process and you’ll be notified once your loan funds. Mirastar will always service your loan, so you’ll always know where to turn to should you have any questions.
