There’s been a lot that has happened over the past 75 years and we’re proud to have been on this journey with our members. Let’s head down memory lane.
1950 – Santa Clara County Employees Credit Union is established at 1090 N. First St. In San Jose
1970 – Gilroy Branch is opened
1972 – Campbell Branch is opened
1978 – San Jose Branch is moved to 852 N. First St.
1987 – Coverts to a Federal Charter becoming Santa Clara County Federal Credit Union
1991 – Almaden Branch is opened
1997 – Reaches $200M in assets
2000 – Celebrated 50th Anniversary
2001 – Reaches $300M in assets
2003 – Reaches $400M in assets
2004 – Gilroy Branch is moved to the Gilroy Crossing Shopping Center
2005 – Almaden Branch moves to 5353 Suite 65 in the Almaden Plaza Shopping Center
2007 – City Centre Branch is opened
2008 – Reaches $500M in assets
2009 – East San Jose Branch is opened
2010 – Celebrated 60th Anniversary
2012 – Member Education and Rewards Center opens
2015 – Reaches $600M in assets
2016– Reaches $700M in assets
2016 – San Jose Branch is moved to 70 West Hedding
2017 – Reaches 50K members
2018 – 1,038 community hours donated
2019 – $25,000 in donations
2020 – Celebrated 70th Anniversary
2024 – County Federal becomes Mirastar Federal Credit Union

Each year we come together to celebrate International Credit Union Day (ICU Day) to raise awareness about what it means for members around the world to have a credit union as their financial partner. We strive to inspire hope and bring our community together.
